Q:
.What is the value of k so that (x – 3) will be a factor of (x³ + kx + 3)?
Accepted Solution
A:
If x-3 is a factor than function x²+kx+3=0 at x=3 So Putting x=3 in function 3²+ke+3=0 9+3+k3=0 3k=-12 K=-12/3 K=-4
