Q:

Math help.... Please.... This doesn't make any sense to me. Pls help me. I'm not begging, but this problem has been stumping me and I don't understand how to do it.... I'm using 95 points to give to a person who maybe can help me. I will give Brainliest if you are correct. Thank you so very kindly.Ike's piggy bank contained only quarters and nickles. When he counted the money there was $21.65. If there were 121 more nickles than quarters, how many of each type of coin did Ike have in the bank?

Accepted Solution

A:
There were only $6 and 5¢ of nickles in this mans pocket. And the rest was quarters.

We do [tex]\boxed{6.05-21.65}= 15.6[/tex].

Then sense we now know this, we then do...

[tex]\boxed{15.6-6.05}=9.55[/tex]

Then we do, 6.05+6.05= 12.1

Quarters= 52

Nickles= 173
